The client
Mixit is where young refugees, immigrants, and locals come together to find a sense of community and belonging in a new land. Through the power of dance, drama, and music, they foster creativity, boost confidence, and develop communication skills.
As we celebrated Mixit's 10th birthday, we embarked on a new journey to promote their 4-day event series with a campaign that truly embodies the spirit of what Mixit represents: a place for young people to connect, grow, and thrive.

The challenge
At GOODFOLK, I had the privilege of collaborating with a talented team to create a concept that celebrates diversity in a bold and impactful way. Our key visual, a colorful blend of triangles, symbolizes community, diversity, and celebration.
This design system, featuring a range of colors and triangle directions, was carried through to our social media posts and event flyer. Each color and triangle direction represents one of the four events, coming together to form a Roman Ten in honor of Mixit's 10th anniversary.




The results
Mixit's festival was an inspiring triumph with a remarkable turnout. Our social media advertising and promotions worked wonders, with each event selling out. But the real triumph was giving the young people a chance to celebrate themselves.
